Role Description The Relationship Manager is a full-time hybrid role based in Los Angeles, CA, with the flexibility to work from home part of the time. In this role, the Relationship Manager will build and maintain strong long-term relationships with merchant clients, ensuring they receive value from Insight Merchant Solutions’ products and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include onboarding new merchants, conducting account reviews, identifying opportunities for additional solutions, and resolving customer inquiries or escalations in coordination with internal teams. The Relationship Manager will analyze payment processing data to recommend optimizations, educate clients on new features and programs, and support retention and growth objectives. The role requires regular communication via phone, email, video meetings, and occasional in-person visits with clients and partners.

Qualifications

• Client relationship management and account management skills, with the ability to build trust, understand business needs, and maintain long-term partnerships.
• Sales, cross-selling, and upselling skills, including experience identifying opportunities, presenting solutions, and negotiating terms that align with client goals.
• Payment industry and technical knowledge, such as familiarity with payment processing, POS systems, e-commerce platforms, and integrated software solutions.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, including comfort working with data, interpreting processing metrics, and recommending cost-saving or efficiency improvements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including clear written and verbal communication, active listening, and the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
• Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts, prioritize tasks, and follow through on commitments in a hybrid work environment.
• Experience in financial services, fintech, or merchant services is highly beneficial; prior B2B experience supporting small and medium-sized businesses is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Comfort with CRM tools, standard office software, and remote collaboration platforms
