Valencia Relationship Institute is seeking a fully licensed, part-time, in-person therapist to join our private group practice.
A Successful Therapist at Valencia Relationship Institute Will Be Someone Who:
- Holds an active LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC license to practice in California.
- Ideally has two years of direct clinical experience post-licensure.
- Is passionate about building genuine therapeutic relationships and providing the highest level of care to clients.
- Enjoys working with children, teens, adults, and couples to help them navigate emotional and relationship challenges. At least two years of couples experience a plus!
- Has a strong understanding of or willingness to learn evidence-based therapeutic interventions like CBT, DBT, EMDR, TF-CBT, and EFT for couples.
- Values working in a collaborative team environment and thrives in a setting where you can consult with colleagues and continuously grow professionally.
- Is committed to seeing clients in-person at our Valencia location.
- Can offer at least 15 hours of availability per week, with flexible scheduling options for a part-time role.
- Desires to develop their career exclusively with Valencia Relationship Institute, refraining from establishing or working for another private practice while employed with us (this includes telehealth companies like Rula or Grow).
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to ongoing professional development through training and consultation.

Your Professional Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic counseling services in-person to clients including individuals, couples, and families.
- Maintain a detailed and up-to-date client schedule and progress notes.

Schedule:
As a Licensed Therapist at Valencia Relationship Institute, you will work 13-22 hours per week, beginning in a part-time role with the opportunity to expand to full-time as we build up your caseload.
You’ll see clients in person at our Valencia office. We offer a flexible schedule that can align with your availability, but please be prepared to offer afternoon and evening hours as these are the most in-demand openings with our clients.
