POSITION SUMMARY
The Lead Receptionist assumes a leadership role within the reception team, overseeing the efficient operation of the front desk and reception area. With a focus on providing exemplary customer service and administrative support, the Lead Receptionist guides and mentors the receptionist staff while ensuring a seamless experience for visitors, residents, and staff. The position requires a strong leadership ability and a proactive approach to managing receptionist duties and responsibilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Include but are not limited to the following:
- Coordinate incoming calls.
- Greet visitors and residents warmly and direct them appropriately.
- Lead and supervise reception staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Provide a welcoming and organized environment for residents and visitors.
- Support Office Manager with required administrative tasks as required.
- Collaborate with other departments and reception staff to address visitors’ and residents’ needs efficiently, fostering positive relationships and effective communication.
- Supervisory Responsibility: Yes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education & Experience:
- Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Additional certification in office administration or related field preferred, but not required.
- Experience in customer service and working within an office environment.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Exceptional communication skills in English, enabling effective interaction with residents and staff through both verbal and written means.
- Strong attention to detail and adept problem-solving abilities. Proficient in multitasking, prioritization, and demonstrating excellent time management skills.
- Comfortable with technology and proficient in various software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Google, and others.
- Proven experience in a receptionist, administrative or customer service role, with demonstrated leadership abilities.
