Assistant Health Services Director duties include:

  • Care Coordination: Coordinate and oversee the delivery of care services to residents, ensuring their individualized care plans are followed. Liaison with hospital personnel, physicians, community organizations and other health related service agencies to provide care to the residents.
  • Assessment and Planning: Conduct initial assessments of new residents to determine their care needs and develop personalized care plans. Regularly review and update these plans as residents' needs change.
  • Staff Supervision: Manage and supervise caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure they provide appropriate care and services. This may involve hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
  • Medication Management: Ensure proper medication administration, including medication orders, distribution, and adherence to medication schedules.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal regulations governing assisted living facilities and ensure compliance with these regulations in all aspects of care.
  • Family and Resident Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with residents and their families, addressing their questions, concerns, and preferences.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete records of residents' health status, care plans, and services provided. Ensure compliance with documentation requirements.
  • Advocacy: Act as an advocate for residents, ensuring their rights and preferences are respected and addressing any grievances or concerns.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with developments in the field of assisted living and healthcare, seeking opportunities to enhance the facility's services and programs.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Arizona active RN or LPN licensure.
  • Must be able to meet all state and local requirements for employment screening including drug and background screening including abuse registry for certain positions.

  • Establish and maintain a customer-service/hospitality focused culture 
  • Sincere interest in providing quality and compassionate services for seniors
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect resident’s privacy
