Clinical Director - Western Region
The Clinical Director provides leadership and oversight of all clinical programs. This includes the full continuum of services—outpatient, child and family services, medication assisted treatment, adolescent services, and specialized programs such as the Women’s Recovery Center. Develops and implements goals of all treatment programs. Provides clinical supervision to core clinical staff. The Clinical Director works with the Leadership team in the development and implementation of tools and training curriculum, and implements policies and procedures to drive forward a culture of excellent care for all individuals working towards recovery. The Director promotes the use of the evidence-based practices in all substance use and behavioral health treatment services with the goal of promoting a safe and comfortable environment for all individuals. As a comprehensive substance use treatment program, Insight Human Services seeks leaders with strong clinical and supervisory expertise; while all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply, the ideal candidate will hold full licensure as both a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS) and a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS - or willingness to obtain).

Clinical Leadership:
1) Oversees the implementation of evidence-based practice standards across all disciplines consistent with the organization’s mission.
2) Directs the delivery of the MH and SUD treatment services and clinical and community-oriented services.
3) Reviews and responds to legal concerns or requests regarding clinical services.
4) Able to communicate the philosophy and strategies to executive, management, clinical and direct support staff, external stakeholders, and partner organizations.
5) Develops and provides leadership over a competency-based trauma-informed clinical curriculum and training program for all staff.
6) Provides individual and group supervision of clinical staff.
7) Works in a consistently professional manner at all times, which includes, but is not limited to, treating all residents, clients, staff, and guests with dignity and respect.
8) Implements emergency procedures as necessary.
9) Performs other duties as directed.

1) In collaboration with the executive team, plays a key role in the overall development, strategic planning, service delivery, and management of the organization.
2) Provides administrative and clinical leadership to program managers to support and develop the provision of treatment services.
3) Approach to deliver high-value care that is financially feasible and sustainable.
4) Evaluates the needs for the delivery of services, recruitment, interviewing and hiring to fulfill program needs; staff assignments; completion of performance appraisals and managing employee relations.
5) Deploys resources efficiently and effectively toward organizational goals, working with staff to balance workload and effort, and provide ongoing feedback so that staff can continuously improve their supervision and mentoring skills.
6) Identifies external organizations/providers/community groups to build effective community collaborations and professional relations.
7) Oversees grant funded clinical initiatives and ensure delivery of services and appropriate and timely reporting.
8) Creates a work climate that emphasizes collective team performance.
9) Builds and maintains strong working relationships with agency staff and supervisors, as well as external contacts.

2) Experience and comfort working within a substance abuse treatment setting preferred.
3) Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with astute ability to articulately present material in front of large audience.

5) Ability to be flexible to the daily changing needs within the community and to handle obstacles with compassion and resolve.
