Insight Global is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer for our client in the industrial manufacturing industry. This individual will serve as a trusted technical advisor, working directly with transformer OEMs to deliver high-performance insulation solutions using advanced Diamond Dot Paper coating technology. The role blends hands-on engineering expertise with consultative sales, offering the opportunity to influence product innovation, support manufacturing excellence, and drive revenue through technically sound, customer-focused solutions.
Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science
- 3–5 years of experience in technical sales or application engineering
- Direct experience within the power transformer/electrical insulation industry or experience within the paper industry.
- Strong customer-facing, consultative communication skills
Day to Day:
- Partner with transformer OEM engineering teams to specify insulation solutions
- Recommend coating patterns and thicknesses to optimize thermal and mechanical performance
- Support customer trials, troubleshooting, and ongoing commercial use
- Develop and present technical and commercial proposals
- Educate customers and internal sales teams through technical presentations
Salary : $110,000 - $120,000
