Job Description
The Supply Chain Analyst serves as the primary liaison between Supply Chain and MRO/MRE Operations, proactively identifying solutions for material shortages and indirect procurement challenges. This role participates in production and material management meetings, coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, and supports timely asset availability through effective vendor management and procurement processes. Key objectives include increased asset utilization, inventory optimization, and improved financial performance. The Analyst leverages inventory management tools and data insights to recommend solutions and drive efficiency across the supply chain.
Responsibilities:
Align and execute global supply chain initiatives in support of business targets.
Conduct cost-benefit and risk assessments to evaluate supply chain projects.
Support inventory management and maintain appropriate Min/Max levels aligned with MRE Operations.
Stay informed about market supply trends and conditions.
Research product options, perform price comparisons, and assess purchase timing.
Maintain a robust supplier network for parts and equipment.
Develop and execute purchasing strategies to acquire commodities at or below market levels.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain systems, processes, and workflows.
Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement both tactical and strategic sourcing plans.
Compensation
$75,000 to $85,000 per year annual salary.
