Must Haves:
- Ability to work on a W2 basis without sponsorship
- Ability to work on site in CLT 4x a week
- 3–4 years of experience in analytics, supply chain, planning, or a highly Excel-driven role
- Advanced Excel skills with proven experience working in complex, formula-heavy models
- Experience using vlookup, sumif(s), IF statement, pivot table, and data cleaning.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to research, validate, and reconcile data
- Ability to follow and understand complex formulas and logic within existing models
- Comfortable explaining analysis and forecast changes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity to work through “what-if” scenarios
Preferred Skills:
- Prior supply chain or planning experience
Job Description:
- One of our largest telecom clients is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to support supply planning for core internet products, which drive the business. This role sits within the Supply Chain Planning team and is heavily focused on Excel-based modeling and analysis, with an upcoming transition to a new planning system later this year. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Excel, comfortable working with complex models and formulas, and able to explain insights and forecast changes to cross-functional partners.
Responsibilities:
- Own and maintain a complex Excel-based supply planning model, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Ingest forecasts and data inputs from cross-functional partners, including Product and Marketing.
- Consolidate multiple input files into a centralized planning model and work through the end-to-end planning process.
- Perform monthly planning cycles (approximately two weeks per cycle) and support the close process beginning around the 29th of each month.
- Review monthly forecasts with leadership clearly articulate what changed, why it changed, and business impact.
- Distribute forecast outputs and reports to Product, Marketing, and internal stakeholders.
- Support ad hoc scenario planning and analysis, such as modeling supply impacts based on increased demand or connection targets
- Example: assessing supply implications, gaps, and required actions if demand increases to a specific level.
- During lighter periods between planning cycles, respond to scenario requests and exploratory analyses
