Insight Global is seeking 3 Stress Engineers for a large Aerospace client
Must Haves
ABET Accredited Bachelor’s degree - Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil, Materials, or Structural Engineering
US Citizen and must qualify for a Secret Clearance
Experience with NASGRO, AFGROW, FEMAP, PATRAN
7 - 15 years of experience in:
Crack Initiation/ Fatigue Analysis
Crack Growth Analysis/ Damage Tolerance
DT, DTA, DADT, Structural Analysis
Day to Day
The Stress Engineer will be responsible for rerunning stress calculations and tests. The first year of this assignment will be strictly rerunning analysis, then they will switch into standard stress analysis work. They will interact with liaison engineers to help give repair guidance. 95% of the role will be behind a computer running the numbers for analysis.
Hourly Rate up to $70hr based on experience level
