JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the full project life cycle for complex, high voltage Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects, ensuring each one is delivered safely, on schedule, within scope, and on budget. You’ll manage EPC Substation, Protection & Controls (P&C), and Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Line projects while reviewing designs, equipment specifications, Bills of Material (BOM), and construction requirements to maintain strict QA/QC standards. Working closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients, you will drive project milestones, develop proposals and schedules, prepare material lists, and provide ongoing performance updates to stakeholders. You will also conduct engineering work reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables to maintain alignment on project goals. This individual will need to be located in either the Covington, La or Metairie, La office and will be working a 9/80 schedule. The salary ranges between $150-175k and is dependent on experience level and background.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration/management, Project Management, Construction Management, or Engineering
• 5 years of experience managing substation, transmission, or distribution projects
• Knowledge of utility engineering practices with an emphasis on Transmission/Substation design and critical path method scheduling
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• PMP Certification
Salary : $150,000 - $175,000
