Technical & Quality Oversight:

• Provide senior-level oversight for installation, integration, and commissioning of medium-voltage switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators, and feeders.

• Ensure compliance with design documents, codes (NEC/NESC), UL standards, and local permitting requirements.

• Review and approve submittals, RFIs, method statements, and field changes for BTM scopes.

• Partner with commissioning and operations teams to validate system reliability and energization readiness.

• Drive quality control and documentation standards through Procore or equivalent project management systems.

Budgeting & Contracts:

• Manage BTM scope budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting for large-scale projects.

• Lead RFP processes, contractor selection, and negotiation for BTM scopes.

• Review and approve change orders, ensuring alignment with project objectives and cost efficiency.

• Identify and implement opportunities for schedule optimization and cost savings across BTM systems.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Act as the primary point of contact for all BTM construction coordination across internal teams, contractors, and utilities.

• Communicate progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior leadership and stakeholders.

• Ensure construction, commissioning, and operations teams are fully aligned for successful energization and turnover.

• Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and collaboration across all project teams.

Risk, Safety, and Compliance:

• Ensure strict adherence to environmental, health, and electrical safety standards, including medium-voltage and UPS protocols.

• Lead risk mitigation planning related to site conditions, logistics, equipment delivery, and commissioning readiness.

• Oversee permitting, inspections, and regulatory compliance for all BTM systems.

Basic Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience on hyperscale data centers or other mission-critical facilities.

• Strong understanding of commissioning, energization, and operational readiness for BTM systems.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Self-starter capable of managing complex projects in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
