Senior Program Manager – Army Design & Construction Strategy

Insight Global is seeking an experienced and highly motivated military design and construction Program Manager to provide direct support to the U.S. Army in the development of innovative design and construction execution acquisition strategies. This role will serve as a key conduit for Insight Global’s architecture-engineering and construction expertise, advising a dynamic Army leadership team and leading a team of Insight Global professionals in support of a large, multi-location construction program.
The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of Government and industry experience, a deep understanding of A-E and construction delivery methods, and a passion for developing creative solutions to complex execution challenges. This is a unique opportunity to help shape strategy, influence decision-making, and support mission-critical Army programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to the Army in the development of innovative design and construction execution strategies.
- Serve as a conduit for architecture-engineering and construction expertise in support of Government leadership.
- Advise Army leadership on alternative acquisition and execution approaches for a large, multi-location design and construction program, enthusiastically embracing modernization through advisement on navigating or changing existing Government policy.
- Lead and manage a small team of Insight Global professionals in support of program objectives, leveraging a vast network of professionals for advisement and reach-back.
- Draft briefings, white papers, and decision-support materials for Government stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal Insight Global and external Army stakeholders to develop practical, mission-focused solutions.
- Support program planning, strategy development, and execution oversight across multiple locations.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering
- Licensed Engineer or Registered Architect with a degree in engineering, architecture, construction, or a related field
- At least 15 years of experience related to design and construction across a wide range of project types
- Located in Huntsville, AL or willingness to relocate immediately
- Strong interest in developing creative solutions for alternative acquisition and execution strategies
- Ability to draft briefings and white papers supporting Government decision-making
