We are seeking a highly skilled 3D Pipe Checker to join one of our clients in Marinette, WI. This is a full-time on-site role with relocation assistance available.
Job Description
This position requires the design of piping diagrams and designs in 3D AutoCad. The individual will be responsible for designing specifications of piping systems and ensuring they meet NAVSEA compliance standards in Navis, ShipConstructor, and AutoCad. Additionally, the candidate will review designs to ensure drawings meet Navy Specs and receive approval.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design piping diagrams and designs in 3D AutoCad
- Evaluate designs to ensure compliance with Navy Specs and obtain approval
- Work effectively with AutoCAD 3D, MS Office, and MS Excel software tools
Requirements
- Associate degree in an Engineering concentration
- 8 years of experience with piping design in the maritime industry, specifically on military vessels/submersibles or commercial shipping vessels
- Proficiency with ShipConstructor or Navis software
