Job Description
Our client, a regulated utility organization, is seeking a Senior Manager, Security & Resiliency to lead enterprise-wide physical security, emergency preparedness, and business continuity programs.
This is a net-new leadership role responsible for protecting people, facilities, and operational continuity across corporate offices, field locations, and critical infrastructure. The role establishes and governs physical security standards and resiliency frameworks to ensure the organization can prevent, respond to, and recover from physical threats, natural disasters, and operational disruptions.
This position partners cross‑functionally with IT, Cybersecurity, Operations, OT, Facilities, Executive Leadership, and external agencies, and serves as the enterprise coordinator during major incidents.
Key Responsibilities
Define and maintain enterprise physical security policies, standards, and procedures
Lead deployment and lifecycle management of video surveillance, access control, and monitoring systems
Establish physical security design standards for facilities and critical sites
Conduct enterprise-wide security risk assessments and vulnerability reviews
Develop and govern incident response, reporting, and escalation procedures
Manage contract guard services and third‑party security vendors
Stand up and lead the Business Continuity Management (BCM) program
Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCP)
Align physical security, BCM, and IT Disaster Recovery planning
Lead tabletop, functional, and full-scale emergency exercises
Serve as enterprise lead during significant physical or operational incidents
Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency management agencies, regulators, and insurance partners
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (including TSA Pipeline Security Guidelines)
Provide executive-level reporting on security posture, risks, and readiness
Salary : $145,000 - $175,000
