Compensation Range(s) below: ($75-$86/hour for the first 9-month of employment before badge flip)
Required Skills and Experience *
- Active Top Secret Clearance with eligibility for SCI and CI Poly
- BS Degree (STEM) and 5-10 years of experience documenting, testing and debugging software
- Security or DOD Directive 8570 compliant (or ability to obtain one within 6 months)
- Experience with verification and validation of requirements and technical writing skills
- Experience writing test cases and performing regression tests on systems and unit testing
- Experience in Linux/Unix environments (understanding of basic command lines, permissions, directories)
Nice to Have Skills and Experience
- Understanding of OPIR and data processing or similar
- Working knowledge of DOORS, CAMEO, Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
- Experience in the development, test, modernization and/or sustainment of Command and Control systems, and/or Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) systems
- Experience with formal requirement verification and composition and test procedure development
Job Description *
A client in the Boulder, CO is hiring for a Systems Integration & Test Engineer to support a large classified Program supporting Missile Tracking and Prediction (Secret Clearance or higher required). This person will be able to serve as a "deputy lead" and will be responsible for short and long term integration planning and execution of multiple concurrent baselines. The I&T Engineer will perform/supports software installation and Integration efforts and document, test and debug software. The I&T Engineer coordinates with HW/SW team to perform retests and regression tests once defects are corrected and will analyze system capabilities to identify software bugs This team does integration and test and receives the build for test before formal release to customer and will then do site install. Responsibilities will include troubleshooting, bug fixes, and tool development to validate requirements. Additional responsibilities: Document, test and debug software for the Missile Tracking Application; writing test cases, regressing tests, requirements verifications and creating requirements verification documents. Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborates with software developers; Analyze system capabilities to resolve problems; Prepare operating instructions and ensure software standards are met. As a key member of our software integration and test team, you will be vital to software test development, test execution and debugging of multiple mission and experimental software baselines in support of the Missile Defense Agency. Additionally, you will participate in initiatives to implement new I&T automation tools to further our refinement of Agile development practices.
Salary : $72 - $86
