Job Title
S/4 HANA MDG Product Lead (IT Data & Analytics)
Insight Global is seeking an S/4 HANA MDG Product Lead to support a large-scale global ERP transformation initiative. This individual will have end-to-end ownership of the SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) platform, aligning delivery with S/4 implementations.
This role will partner closely with senior business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable MDG solutions, build a realistic delivery roadmap, and lead execution across a global environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong balance of hands-on MDG expertise, program leadership, and stakeholder management experience.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of SAP MDG within a global S/4 transformation
- Translate business requirements into scalable MDG solutions and delivery plans
- Lead MDG solution design across:
- Material Master
- Finance Master Data
- Customer and Vendor domains
- Build and execute roadmap for transitioning from legacy data processes to future-state MDG platform
- Manage complex program delivery:
- Budgeting, forecasting, timelines, and risk mitigation
- Cross-functional and cross-program dependencies
- Lead global project teams (15 resources across regions)
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment, steering committee updates, and executive-level communication
- Oversee governance, quality, and compliance with internal project methodologies
- Ensure successful transition to BAU operations post-implementation
- Drive continuous improvement and establish best practices/center of excellence for MDG delivery
Must-Have Qualifications
- 6 years of hands-on SAP MDG experience
- At least 1 end-to-end SAP MDG implementation (design configuration)
- Strong expertise in:
- Data Modeling Enhancements
- Data Replication Framework (DRF)
- Data Transfer (DIF/DEF)
- BRF (Business Rules Framework)
- Experience with:
- Workflow configuration (rule-based)
- Process modeling (entity, change request, workflow, replication)
- UI modeling and data validation rules
- Proven experience leading large-scale programs ($10M budgets)
- Experience managing global teams (15 resources)
- Strong stakeholder management experience with senior/executive leadership
- Experience operating in large, global enterprise environments
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- SAP S/4HANA transformation experience
- Background in pharma/life sciences or regulated industry
- Agile / SAFe experience
- Lean / Six Sigma exposure
- Project or Program Management certifications (PMP, etc.)
- Master’s degree
