What are the responsibilities and job description for the Salesforce Developer position at Insight Global?
We’re hiring 2 Salesforce Developers to support a large-scale modernization effort for a federal program in Ashburn, VA (4 days remote/week). This is a great opportunity to work on mission-driven work supporting national security initiatives.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and maintain Apex code, triggers, and custom components
- Automate complex workflows using Salesforce Flow Builder
- Build test classes to meet code coverage requirements
- Support CI/CD pipelines and release processes
- Debug and enhance existing Salesforce applications
- Troubleshoot production issues and identify root causes
- Serve as a Salesforce system administrator for enterprise environment
- Manage data loads, integrations, and data feeds
- Partner with stakeholders to scope and execute new development requests
- Help train users and expand Salesforce knowledge across the team
What We’re Looking For
- Active CBP BI clearance (required)
- Active secret/top secret highly preferred
- 3 years of Salesforce development experience
- Salesforce Developer certifications
- Strong understanding of:
- Apex, Lightning components, and platform capabilities
- Salesforce best practices and system architecture
- Experience with data management tools (e.g., Data Loader)
- Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment (preferred)
- Experience with Unlocked Packages is a plus
Salary : $70 - $80
