Camden, NJ (4 openings)
- 2 - Sunday – Thursday (11:00pm to 7:30am)
- 1- Tuesday – Saturday (11:00pm tp 7:30am)
- 1- Sun/Thurs OR Tues/Sat (3:00pm to 11:30pm)
Bridgewater, NJ (3 openings)
- 1- Tuesday – Saturday (3:00pm to 11:30pm)
- 1- Part time - Saturday and Sunday – (7:00am to 7:00pm OR 7:00pm to 7:00am) – 24 hrs/week
- 1- Floater – schedule can fluctuate depending on needs – 40 hrs/week
Pay Rate: Up to $21.75/hour
Duration: Permanent
Must-haves
- High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year experience in the child welfare field, working with children and/or adolescents in a social service setting
- Bilingual language fluency in both English and Spanish
- Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License in the state of NJ
- Must have been a licensed driver for at least 3 years
Plusses:
- Associate’s degree in social work or related field
- 2-3 years of supervisory and program administration experience preferred

Insight Global is looking for multiple Residential Counselors for one of our social services clients for multiple shelter centers in south jersey. These positions provide essential support and supervision to children and adolescents in a social services setting, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development. They conduct life skills education and goal-setting groups, organize recreational and physical education activities, and coordinate appointments with medical consultants and other necessary appointments. Additionally, they work closely with teachers and residential staff on educational and job-related goals, provide caring supervision and structure for youth in residence, and transport youth to and from appointments. In the event of a Youth Care Workers absence, Youth Care Workers substitute to ensure continuity of care. They help youth complete their treatment plan goals, maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the program site, and assist youth with daily life skills, education, and chores. Travel to other shelters may be required as needed. Youth Care Workers complete documentation as per policy, attend all required staff meetings and trainings, and report any suspected child or elder abuse and neglect according to guidelines. Maintaining professional relationships with external parties is crucial, as is ensuring program compliance with all funding and licensing procedures. Youth Care Workers must always respect the confidentiality of clients and staff.
