Role Overview

The Consultant Project Coordinator (CPC) serves as the primary onsite delivery and operations partner supporting a mission-critical U.S. Navy program. This role is responsible for end-to-end consultant coordination across onboarding, compliance, scheduling, timekeeping, travel, and financial administration—while acting as the liaison between contractors, external leadership, Insight Global delivery teams, HR, Legal, Security, and Travel.

Operating in a secure, fast‑paced Navy environment, the CPC ensures workforce continuity, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency while proactively resolving issues that could impact mission delivery.


Key Responsibilities

Consultant Onboarding, Compliance & Access

  • Manage all badging and base access requirements, ensuring contractors submit correct and compliant forms of government‑approved identification
  • Assist with background checks, clearance onboarding, and EAPP coordination, including initiating and supporting clearance re-investigations
  • Serve as onsite escalation point for security, access, and compliance delays, coordinating across Security, HR, and client stakeholders

Workforce Operations & Scheduling

  • Maintain the master consultant roster, including accurate tracking of work location, shift assignments, and program alignment
  • Ensure consultant profiles, system records, and approvals accurately reflect shift differentials, schedules, and work authorizations
  • Proactively identify and resolve shift changes communicated late by contractors, minimizing downstream payroll, access, and compliance risk


Key Responsibilities (Continued)

Timekeeping, Payroll & Financial Controls

  • Oversee timesheet submission, PTO tracking, and approval workflows, ensuring accuracy and policy alignment
  • Identify and escalate timesheet discrepancies or suspected fraud, partnering directly with HR and Legal to investigate and resolve issues
  • Support project financial audits, payroll reconciliations, and invoicing accuracy in coordination with the Project/Program Manager

Contract Administration & Compensation Adjustments

  • Assist coordinating custom CEAs to reflect shift premiums, differentials, travel status, or program-specific compensation needs
  • Partner with delivery and systems teams to ensure timesheet dropdowns and approvals align with authorized labor categories and pay structures

Travel & Logistics Support

  • Act as point of contact for traveling consultants, coordinating housing needs
  • Partner with the centralized travel team to balance program requirements, cost controls, and consultant wellbeing

Client, Consultant & Stakeholder Communication

  • Serve as the onsite liaison between contractors, external leadership, and delivery teams, ensuring clarity on expectations, policies, and changes
  • Lead project‑wide communications, announcements, and updates impacting schedules, access, payroll, or compliance
  • Document and distribute meeting notes, action items, and operational updates for leadership visibility


Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven ability to manage complex workforce operations with high attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills across consultants, clients, and internal partners
  • Experience with timekeeping systems, payroll coordination, onboarding workflows, and contract administration
  • Comfortable operating onsite, independently, and in high‑accountability environments
  • Strong experience supporting federal or Navy programs, ideally in a cleared or regulated environment
