Job Description
An employer is looking for a Project Engineer for a Utility customer in the Southern California area. This individual will be part of the project intake team which receives and processes requests for PE support on different projects across the line of businesses. They will perform project scope definition work, which may involve site visits, research, and meetings with project managers, clients, discipline engineers, operations/maintenance personnel and other stakeholders. They will hold recurring and/or as-needed meetings with stakeholders to discuss project status, technical issues and otherwise advance the project. Generate and maintain project planning documents, such as Technical Statements of Work (TSOWs), engineering schedules, and action item lists. Ensure engagement of and progress by applicable disciplines and other resources to guide projects during initiation phase. Provide status reports and elevate issues as needed to the Company contact and project manager when appropriate. Ideally, this candidate will sit in Pacific Time.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4 years of Project Engineering experience working across different engineering disciplines
- Engineering degree (Prefer any engineering discipline Mechanical, Chemical/process, and Instrument/Control)
- 1 years of experience in oil and gas projects
Compensation
$50-70/hour
