About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a highly organized Procurement Coordinator to support procurement activities across large-scale industrial capital projects. This role is responsible for driving the RFQ-to-purchase-order process, coordinating with vendors, tracking procurement activities, assisting with bid evaluations, and maintaining procurement reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities
- Issue and track Requests for Quotation (RFQs) in accordance with project procurement plans
- Maintain bidder lists, supplier contacts, and procurement documentation
- Follow up with vendors to obtain quotations and monitor response timelines
- Receive, organize, and review supplier bids for completeness and compliance
- Prepare bid tabulation and bid comparison documents for procurement leadership review
- Standardize commercial and technical bid information, including pricing, scope, exclusions, freight, taxes, and lead times
- Source new, used, and surplus equipment through distributors, brokers, dealers, auctions, and online marketplaces
- Support purchase requisition and purchase order processing
- Maintain procurement trackers, dashboards, and status reports
- Coordinate with engineering, project controls, and document control teams to ensure procurement requirements are met
- Maintain accurate and auditable procurement records throughout the project lifecycle
Required Qualifications
- 2-10 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, buying, expediting, or supply chain coordination
- Experience supporting RFQ, sourcing, purchasing, or procurement activities
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, reporting, and data analysis
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple vendors, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
- Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent professional experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting capital projects, EPC projects, industrial construction, manufacturing, energy, mining, chemicals, oil & gas, or heavy industrial environments
- Experience with bid tabulations and bid leveling activities
- Experience sourcing used or surplus equipment
- Familiarity with ERP or procurement systems such as SAP Ariba, Oracle, Coupa, Procore, or similar platforms
- Ability to review equipment specifications, datasheets, and technical documentation
- Experience building dashboards in Power BI or similar reporting tools
- CPSM, CSCP, or related supply chain certifications
Compensation:
$30/hr to $45/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
Salary : $75,000 - $93,500
