Position: District Payroll Support Specialist
Duration: 6mo contract (potential to be hired on as FTE)
Location: Hybrid 3 onsite/2 offsite -- can choose what days they want to work from home!
*Onsite M-F for the first 6-8 weeks as they train*
Home office: La Vista, NE 68128
Salary: $21.50/hr
Working Hours: M: 9am-6pm (payroll day) T-F: 8am-5pm
*once trained, specific working hours can be adjusted if desired (ie. 7am-4pm)*
Desired start date: ASAP
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline
- Proficiency in creating and working with pivot tables
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience using ServiceNow
- Skilled in Microsoft 365 applications, especially Excel and Teams
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to operate with a high sense of urgency in a fast paced environment
Plusses:
- Background in banking or payroll roles

Day-to-day:
A fortune 500 construction company is looking to bring on a District Payroll Support Specialist! This person's daily life will consist of pre-payroll auditing, post-payroll auditing, cost moves, and time entry for a breakdown of both craft and corporate employees within the candidate’s designated district across the organization. This candidate's tasks will also include but not be limited to submitting off-cycles, pay additions, labor cost moves, setting up overtime rules, and overall general payroll and time inquiries. This is a dynamic, intensive environment where the candidate is continuously developing, with opportunities for growth across all areas of the company’s core operations. Success in this role requires a keen attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency, and a proactive, self-driven mindset.
