What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Support Analyst position at Insight Global?
Schedule: On-site, 5 days/week
Must-Haves
- 2–5 years of experience in logistics, inventory, or warehouse operations
- Hands-on experience managing IT or technical equipment inventory
- Strong working knowledge of supply chain processes (procurement, inventory, distribution)
- Experience using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Proficiency in Excel for tracking, reporting, and reconciliation
- Experience with ServiceNow (asset, request, or inventory workflows)
- Comfortable working in a physical, warehouse-based environment with lifting, unpacking, and equipment handling
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable in a fast-paced setting
Plusses
- Experience with Asset Panda or similar IT asset management tools
- Prior support of Network, Connectivity, or SATCOM teams
- Vendor coordination experience (RMA, replacements, shipments)
- Familiarity with IT hardware lifecycle management
- Experience generating inventory or asset reports for technical teams
Day-to-Day
- Track, organize, and maintain accurate inventory of IT, network, and SATCOM equipment
- Log, update, and manage assets in Asset Panda throughout their lifecycle
- Handle shipping and receiving: unpack, label, verify, and stage equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse space
- Process returns, replacements, defective hardware, and surplus inventory
- Enter inventory and asset data accurately into ERP and ticketing systems
- Generate inventory and asset reports as needed
- Work closely with the Network Connectivity team to fulfill equipment requests and support deployments
