NDT Technician | Aviation Industry
Location: Grand Junction CO
Pay: $80,000 ($5,000 relocation package)
Duration: PERM, Full time
We are actively seeking an experienced NDT Technician to join a leading aviation maintenance and inspection team. This role is responsible for performing non-destructive testing and inspection activities on aircraft components and structures in accordance with NAS 410 standards, FAA regulations, and established company procedures.
As a key member of the quality and maintenance team, you will support inspection, testing, documentation, and certification activities that directly impact aircraft safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform non-destructive testing and inspections on aircraft components and structures
- Conduct component disassembly, cleaning, preparation, inspection, and testing activities
- Accurately document inspection findings and maintain required records
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, NAS 410 requirements, and internal quality standards
- Maintain, verify, and support the calibration of inspection and testing equipment
- Support continuous certification requirements and quality assurance initiatives
- Promote and adhere to all safety procedures and operational best practices
Qualifications:
- Experience performing NDT inspections in an aviation, aerospace, or related industry environment
- Knowledge of NAS 410 standards and FAA regulations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced maintenance environment
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and off-shift schedules as needed
