An employer in the Dayton, Ohio area is seeking a Secret cleared Modeling & Simulation Manager for a contract to hire opportunity. This individual will serve as a technical and program leader driving classified foreign threat modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts, including RF/IR sensor modeling, Electromagnetic Warfare (EW), and foreign kinetic weapon systems. The role involves leading and mentoring teams responsible for modeling foreign threat radars, antennas, and communications systems, and performing detailed classified analyses such as detectability and survivability assessments to support future combat scenarios. The manager will also advance and grow classified modeling, simulation, and analysis (MS&A) capabilities and business by leveraging existing contracts and customer relationships, incorporating emerging technologies such as AI/ML, and developing the MS&A talent pipeline. Additionally, this position will act as a senior program manager for major initiatives, overseeing complex engineering and test strategies, risk and performance assessments, and solution development for large scale, highly complex problems, while supervising first line managers and engineering and software development teams. An active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI is required, and the role requires on site presence five days per week.

Required Skills & Experience
- Active Secret Clearance (must be able to obtain TS/SCI)
- 8 years of experience with engineering-based modeling, simulation, and analyses, including software development with any engineering programming language
- 5 years of experience with signal processing and radar M&S tools
- 5 years of experience managing contracts, complex technical solutions, and efforts within the DoD or government sector
- Experience as a technical director or chief engineer, leading the technical planning, research, engineering, and integration of projects
- Ability to analyze needs and identify viable business development opportunities within the Air Force and broader DoD market space
- Ability to engage key stakeholders to discuss company capabilities and services
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or computer science field

Salary : $150,000 - $190,000
