Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carrier Hull Electrical Technician with a strong emphasis on electrical systems to join our team. The role involves working on Advanced Weapon Elevators aboard U.S. Navy aircraft carriers currently in service and under construction.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead full-cycle electrical work: rip-out, rebuild, reconnect, and test advanced weapon elevator components.
- Interpret and apply electrical drawings and schematics to ensure precision and compliance.
- Collaborate with a team of experts to deliver high-quality, safety-compliant solutions.
- Work on-site at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard
Key Responsibilities
-Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting on carrier systems.
-Work extensively on:
PLC systems (Rockwell) – advanced knowledge preferred.
Electric motors, limit switches, and proximity switches.
Multipin connectors and vertical package conveyors.
Hangar doors and cableway installations.
-Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, including troubleshooting complex systems.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks on carriers CVN-72 and CVN-76
