Overview
Insight Global is hiring an MES Lead to support a large-scale manufacturing facility.
This role will be responsible for owning and supporting the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) used on the production floor, ensuring it is configured correctly, adopted by teams, and aligned with manufacturing operations.
What You’ll Do
• Support day-to-day use, configuration, and troubleshooting of the MES platform
• Work with production, quality, engineering, and logistics teams to align MES with workflows
• Manage production data including work orders, build records, and traceability
• Support MES deployment, user testing, and go-live activities
• Help improve system workflows and eliminate manual processes
• Train and support users to ensure adoption and proper system use
• Monitor production performance through MES reporting and dashboards
Requirements
• 5 years of experience working with MES systems in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with MES implementation, support, or administration
• Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, work orders, and production processes
• Experience working cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and quality teams
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to Have
• Experience with MES tools like Siemens Opcenter, FactoryTalk, SAP ME, or similar
• Experience in data center, semiconductor, or advanced manufacturing environments
• Experience with ERP/PLM integration, reporting tools, or SQL
• Lean / Six Sigma or similar certifications
