JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking a Maintenance Manager to support a leading manufacturing client in a fast-paced, multi-shift production environment. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving maintenance excellence, improving equipment reliability, and building a strong culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
This individual will oversee both mechanical and electrical maintenance operations, leading a team while implementing proactive maintenance strategies to maximize uptime and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and mentor maintenance teams across multiple shifts, fostering strong engagement and accountability
- Promote a proactive maintenance culture focused on reliability, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement
- Oversee maintenance and reliability programs, including TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and predictive maintenance initiatives
- Drive improvements in equipment uptime, performance, and overall plant efficiency
- Manage daily maintenance operations, including work orders, scheduling, and CMMS systems
- Analyze maintenance metrics and KPIs to identify trends, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Provide technical leadership in industrial electrical systems, including PLCs, automation, motors, and drives
- Support troubleshooting efforts for complex equipment issues while ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards
- Manage budgeting, labor planning, and resource allocation to optimize team performance and cost efficiency
- Partner with operations, engineering, and leadership teams on capital projects and plant initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred)
- 5 years of experience in maintenance leadership within a manufacturing environment
- 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance or reliability
- Strong technical background in electrical systems, PLCs, and automation equipment
- Experience implementing TPM, preventative maintenance programs, and CMMS systems
- Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment
