Job Overview:
Insight Global has an excellent opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator located in Deerfield Beach, FL. This salary, position will report directly to the Customer Service Manager for Ready Mix Dispatch. This role is responsible for coordinating shipments, managing schedules, communicating across teams, and ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely delivery of materials and services.
Responsibilities Include the Following:
- Coordinate daily logistics operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and tracking deliveries
- Communicate with internal teams (operations, sales, customer service) and external partners (haulers, vendors, customers)
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delays or issues
- Ensure all orders are entered accurately and updated in real time
- Utilize systems and tools to optimize routing, efficiency, and service levels
- Analyze data and reports to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using technology and automation
- Maintain clear and professional communication with all stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures
Must Haves:
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and logistics systems)
- Familiarity or willingness to learn AI tools and automation platforms
