Overview
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lab Technician / Chemist to support daily laboratory operations. This role focuses on conducting analytical testing on water samples to ensure safety and compliance. The ideal candidate has a strong scientific foundation, prior laboratory experience, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily laboratory operations and support routine testing procedures
- Conduct analytical testing on water samples to ensure they are safe for use and consumption
- Follow established laboratory protocols and safety standards
- Accurately document test results and observations
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant laboratory workspaces
- Support additional laboratory tasks as assigned
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or a related scientific field
- Previous laboratory experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with analytical testing
- Familiarity with TSS (Total Suspended Solids) testing
Hourly Pay Rate 25-26hr
