Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Inventory Control Lead for a top client in the Florence, KY area. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of inventory operations within a warehouse environment. The role includes executing weekly inventory counts, spot audits, and quality audit schedules, while working closely with Warehouse Supervisors to ensure proper allocation of product, equipment, and labor resources.
This person will analyze and distribute daily reports on inventory and audit results, identify trends and discrepancies, and drive corrective actions. Responsibilities also include conducting hands-on audits across receiving, unloading, storage, picking, packing, and shipping operations, documenting findings in Excel, and partnering with leadership to implement process improvements. Strong communication skills are required to collaborate cross-functionally and resolve inventory issues efficiently.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience conducting inventory counts across warehouse operations including receiving, unloading, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
- Ability to identify trends, discrepancies, and root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Advanced Excel skills for tracking, documenting, and reporting inventory and audit data
- Strong communication skills with experience collaborating with supervisors and operations teams
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain audit schedules
- Detail-oriented with a focus on inventory accuracy, quality control, and operational efficiency
