Role Overview
We are seeking an Epic Professional Billing (PB) Analyst to provide run‑and‑maintain support while the core PB team transitions to an upcoming Refuel initiative. This role is intended as a short‑term backfill to support day‑to‑day operations, ad hoc requests, and ticket‑based work while leadership finalizes and hires a permanent replacement.
This position is heavily PB‑focused and may include light coding exposure, but the primary need is Professional Billing functional support. The ideal candidate is a mid‑level PB builder who is comfortable maintaining and supporting existing build rather than driving large project‑based initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide run‑and‑maintain support for Epic Professional Billing (PB)
- Handle ad hoc requests and ticket‑based work related to PB workflows and issues
- Perform medium‑level PB build and configuration, focusing on stability and continuity rather than major new implementations
- Support and backfill responsibilities currently handled by the two‑person PB core team
- Maintain system integrity and operational continuity as the core team shifts to Refuel preparation
- Collaborate with existing analysts and stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution
- Participate in knowledge transfer and transition support as needed
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience supporting Epic Professional Billing (PB)
- Comfortable operating in a run‑and‑maintain environment
- Medium‑level Epic PB build experience (maintenance and enhancements, not heavy project build)
- Ability to independently manage ticket queues and ad hoc work
- Understanding of operational PB workflows and downstream impacts
- Ability to step into an interim backfill role with minimal ramp‑up
Work Arrangement & Expectations
- Remote role; candidate does not need to live locally
- On‑site required for Day 1 only to pick up laptop/equipment
- No on‑call responsibility
