Overview

Seeking an experienced Electrical and I&C Supervisor to oversee contractors and support construction, commissioning, and startup activities across power generation facilities. This individual will be responsible for ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within quality standards, and in compliance with project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical and I&C construction activities and contractor performance.
• Coordinate project execution with Engineering, Operations, and Project Management teams.
• Review drawings, specifications, and field changes.
• Monitor safety, quality, schedule, and work rule compliance.
• Support contract scope development, bid reviews, and contractor management.
• Track project progress, identify risks, and drive resolution of issues.
• Coordinate commissioning and startup activities for new and existing equipment.
• Support outage planning, scheduling, and execution.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 10 years of heavy industrial construction or construction management experience.
• 10 years of electrical/controls commissioning and startup experience in a power generation environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls systems, and NEC standards.
• Experience supervising contractors and managing field construction activities.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Combined cycle power plant experience.
• Experience with work management systems, outage planning, and cost controls.

Work Environment

• Combination of office and operating power plant environments.
• Frequent walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and field inspections.
• PPE required.
• Occasional nights, weekends, overtime, and on-call support as needed.
