Job Overview
- Support the Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) organization at Hill AFB in Ogden, UT, providing Electrical Engineering support across Air Force acquisition, sustainment, testing, and modernization efforts.
- Serve as part of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) supporting the research, design, development, installation, testing, and operation of complex defense systems.
- Conduct systems engineering reviews and analyses throughout the full system lifecycle, including concept development, engineering and manufacturing development, production, deployment, and sustainment.
- Translate DoD user requirements into system requirements and support system architecture development, interoperability assessments, engineering change proposal reviews, life-cycle cost analysis, and technical evaluations.
- Support Test & Evaluation (T&E) planning, execution, reporting, compliance efforts, technical studies, risk tracking, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) activities.
Must Have Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required due to customer sensitivity.
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related engineering field from an ABET-accredited university.
- 5 years of relevant engineering experience with at least 3 years supporting DoD programs, or 7 years of directly related experience with at least 5 years supporting DoD programs.
- Systems engineering experience supporting electrical engineering projects and programs.
- Understanding of DoD acquisition processes and ability to analyze technical and operational requirements throughout the system lifecycle.
- Experience reviewing engineering documentation, technical specifications, architectures, test activities, and system requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Electrical circuit analysis experience.
- RF engineering experience including antenna design, high-power transmitters/amplifiers, receiver processing, or related RF systems.
- Electro-mechanical controls experience.
- Modeling and simulation experience supporting electrical engineering projects.
- Hands-on Test & Evaluation (T&E) experience.
- Knowledge of technical data packages, sustainment activities, and configuration management within DoD environments.
- Experience supporting Electronic Warfare, Air Combat Operations, aircrew training, or TTP development.
- Familiarity with Range Infrastructure Architectures & Systems.
- Experience with Foreign Ground Radar technologies or intelligence systems.
- Foreign Military Sales (FMS) experience.
Expected compensation is between $70K and $90K depending on experience!
