Key Responsibilities Act as a dedicated safety observer for operators using aerial and scissor lifts. Monitor lift movement and surrounding work areas to identify potential hazards. Ensure operators maintain safe clearances from personnel, equipment, overhead obstructions, and critical infrastructure. Communicate clearly with lift operators using verbal instructions, hand signals, and radios. Control pedestrian and equipment traffic around active lift operations. Assist with securing work zones using barriers, cones, caution tape, and signage. Conduct pre-task area inspections to identify safety risks before work begins. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, site safety standards, and customer requirements. Immediately report unsafe conditions, incidents, or near-miss events to site leadership. Support general site safety initiatives and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Attend daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and project briefings Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Work Location: In person
