Job Type: Permanent/Direct Hire
Salary: $100,000 - $115,000
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering
- 4 years of experience designing, developing, & maintaining controls systems
- Experience working with VFD's, Servo Controls/Motors, actuators, & rotating/linear sensors
- Experience developing & testing various hardware/firmware for optimal motor speed and performance
Nice to have:
- Experience with National Instruments Labview
- Experience with control cabinet layout and wiring layouts
Day-to-Day:
A client of Insight Global's is looking for a Controls Engineer to work onsite in Chattanooga, TN. This individual's primary responsibility will be refining and designing control systems, therefore, majority of the day to day will include maintaining existing field installations through troubleshooting and doing Research and Development work. This individual will also be developing and testing new platforms of hardware, creating contingency plans for electronic product life cycle, provide guidance to external groups, and participate in continuous improvement projects.
Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
