Must-Haves:
- 5 years of experience in electrical construction, commissioning, QA/QC, field engineering, or project engineering
- NETA Certification or 5 years of experience managing/reviewing NETA test reports
- 5 years of experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud Build, Egnyte, CX Alloy or other commissioning/document control platforms
- Strong understanding of commissioning workflows, test procedures, and electrical systems
- Exposure to electrical testing, startup, turnover, or energization processes
- Maintain and manage QC/QA/CX documentation, including inspection records, NCRs, reports, and pre-energization checklists
- Experience reviewing, tracking, or coordinating testing documentation

- Data center, mission critical, hyperscale, or colocation project experience
- Experience with Procore, BIM 360, Aconex, Fieldwire, CMiC, or similar platforms

Day-to-Day:
- Review and track electrical testing and commissioning reports
- Coordinate testing agencies, inspectors, vendors, and field personnel
- Manage commissioning documentation and turnover packages
- Track and resolve deficiencies, punch items, and NCRs
- Monitor inspection status and commissioning milestones
- Support startup and energization activities
- Upload and manage testing documentation within commissioning platforms
- Maintain version control and project documentation
- Generate daily, weekly, and quality reporting metrics
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action tracking
- Collaborate with project management and field operations teams to ensure systems are fully commissioned and ready for turnover

Insight Global is seeking a Commissioning Engineer for a top electrical construction and mission critical infrastructure client. This individual will serve as the bridge between field operations and project management, ensuring electrical systems are installed correctly, tested thoroughly, documented accurately, and prepared for safe energization. The role focuses heavily on commissioning support, QA/QC processes, NETA testing coordination, turnover package management, deficiency tracking, and documentation control throughout the project lifecycle. Candidates with experience in electrical construction, data centers, mission critical facilities, startup and commissioning activities, and commissioning software platforms will be especially successful in this position. Salary : $40 - $60
