Buyer

Our client is seeking a Buyer to support procurement operations in a growing manufacturing environment. This role will focus primarily on indirect materials purchasing, purchase order management, supplier follow-up, and SAP S/4HANA transaction support. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of purchasing experience, strong SAP S/4HANA knowledge, and the ability to work cross-functionally to ensure materials are delivered on time.

Responsibilities:

• Create, process, and manage purchase orders in SAP S/4HANA

• Monitor open orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery

• Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, shipments, and receipt of materials

• Support procurement activities for a variety of indirect materials and services

• Maintain accurate purchasing records and master data within SAP

• Assist with invoice, payment, and supplier documentation processes

• Utilize basic Incoterms knowledge (DDP, FOB, etc.) when managing supplier orders

• Partner with warehouse, logistics, and operations teams to support material availability

• Support process improvements and day-to-day procurement operations

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2–5 years of purchasing, procurement, or buyer experience within a manufacturing environment

• 2 years of SAP S/4HANA experience, specifically within purchasing/procurement modules

• Experience creating and managing purchase orders in SAP

• Understanding of supplier order management and procurement processes

• Familiarity with Incoterms and supplier payment structures

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field

• Experience purchasing indirect materials

• Exposure to industrial or manufacturing environments

• Commercial or business-focused mindset with interest in procurement and supply chain operations
