Business Development Manager
Onsite in Clearwater, FL
Permanent - Full-time position
Salary Range: $110,000 to $135,000 per year plus performance based bonus (based on experience)
Travel: 60 to 70 percent global travel required
We are hiring a Business Development Manager to drive growth, win new customers, and expand our footprint in the aviation market!
This role focuses on identifying new opportunities, building long term client relationships, and closing high value deals across domestic and international markets.
You will partner closely with sales leadership, engineering, and operations to deliver customized solutions for complex customer needs.
What You Will Do
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in aviation and related markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry leaders
- Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue and market share
- Lead sales cycles from prospecting through contract close
- Create compelling proposals, presentations, and pricing strategies
- Track pipeline activity and provide forecasts and market insights to leadership
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery success
What We Are Looking For
- 3 years of business development or sales experience
- Background in aviation, aerospace, or manufacturing preferred
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Strategic and analytical mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Eligible to work with ITAR controlled products and data
Preferred Experience
- Existing network within the aviation industry
- International business development experience
- Experience selling technical or engineered products
