Day to Day –
Insight Global is seeking an Azure Infrastructure Engineer that will join one of our software engineering clients. The Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support and enhance enterprise cloud environments with a strong focus on Azure services, automation, and AI-driven capabilities. This role will play a key part in managing core infrastructure, enabling DevOps initiatives, and supporting the integration of advanced services such as Azure OpenAI.
Responsibilities –
- Manage and improve Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, including Azure OpenAI Service, Resource Groups, resource administration, Entra ID services, RBAC, Conditional Access policies, and Windows 365 Cloud PC environments.
- Automate tasks through scripting technologies and Infrastructure as Code solutions.
- Support execution of Information Technology infrastructure and DevOps projects to support Business growth and security compliance.
- Support IT infrastructure level 3 support / triage and maintenance where necessary.
- Support and manage Azure virtualization, Cloud PC, storage, and Azure OpenAI services infrastructure to meet and exceed operational and development growth expectations.
- Support and manage enterprise backup operations and disaster recovery strategies in Azure.
- Support Azure cloud operations encompassing networking, storage, compute resources, and hybrid connectivity.
- Ensure proper uniformity, documentation, and configuration control of technology platform, processes and projects using Infrastructure as Code best practices.
