Assembler

This role will be onsite in Hampstead, NH. It will be a 6-month contract-to-hire position, with guaranteed conversion at the end of the 6 months. Compensation begins at $18 an hour and will increase incrementally every 6 months.

Job Overview

A client of Insight Global is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembler to join their manufacturing team supporting the production of glass-to-metal seals used in aerospace and defense applications. This role involves assembling small components, reading work instructions and blueprints, loading and unloading production ovens, and ensuring products meet quality standards. The team is looking for someone who is coachable, eager to learn, and interested in growing within a manufacturing environment. The position offers cross-training and rotation between different assembly tasks to provide a more varied work experience.

Must-Haves

• High School Diploma or GED
• 6 months of manufacturing, production, assembly, or similar hands-on experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret paperwork, work instructions, and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
• Comfortable handling small parts and working with precision-focused processes
• Ability to learn new processes, accept coaching, and adapt to different assembly tasks
• Basic math, reading, and written communication skills

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Assemble small components to produce high-quality glass-to-metal seals
• Set up and position parts for soldering, sealing, and assembly processes
• Verify production paperwork, materials, and picking tickets for accuracy
• Read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to ensure proper assembly
• Load and unload ovens used in the glass-sealing production process
• Inspect assembled products and maintain quality standards throughout production
• Rotate between different assembly functions as needed to support production goals
• Follow safety procedures and assist with additional manufacturing tasks as assigned
