Job Description
A gas and oil company headquartered in Long Beach, CA is looking for a fuel analyst / accountant. They will be responsible for all accounting functions of the Company's Fuel Inventory and reporting. Their day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Processing fuel and non-fuel invoices
- Receiving and preparing fuel and freight bills and reports
- Processing EFTS at the bank
- Balance sheet, credit card, and inventory reconciliation
- Perform daily analysis of accounts for variances
- Prepare daily and weekly financial metrics for internal and external customers
- Serve as a SME on all matters related to Fuel Inventory
- Month end close financial preparation
