JOB DESCRIPTION
One of Insight Global's water & wastewater utility clients is looking for a Corporate Automation Engineer to join their team. The Corporate Automation Engineer is a pivotal technical and leadership role responsible for overseeing SCADA programs, bridging IT and operational teams, and ensuring the reliability and advancement of automation systems across multiple states. This position is critical to supporting ongoing and future operational initiatives. This role is hybrid onsite at the company's office in Bryn Mawr, PA.
Key Responsibilites:
- Provide architectural direction and hands-on leadership for SCADA systems, bridging IT and operational teams.
- Serve as the primary resource for resolving SCADA-related technical issues, incident triage, and stakeholder management.
- Oversee large-scale SCADA deployments and coordinate with state engineers to plan, budget, and execute automation projects.
- Develop and document operational processes, including playbooks for IT/OT integration and incident response.
- Travel & Onsite Engagement: 25% travel to conduct site visits and cybersecurity assessments
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Control Systems, Electrical, Industrial, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SCADA systems automation, process development, and IT/OT integration
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale deployments and coordinate across multiple teams and states.
- Certifications: ISA CAP, PMP, and/or GICSP
Pay: $86,525.73 - $150,203.03 per year
