Job Summary:

The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of both incoming materials, IN-Process and outgoing Power conversion and storage products. This role involves inspecting, witnessing testing, and verifying materials and products to meet specified quality standards and regulatory requirements. The Incoming, In-Process and Outgoing Quality Engineer collaborates with suppliers, production teams, Product Engineering and customers to maintain high-quality standards throughout the supply chain.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, standard day shift

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test incoming raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies for Power Conversion and Storage products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
  • Develop Incoming Quality control plan for various Power conversion & Storage products.
  • Collaborate with Engineering team identify the critical to Quality requirements and establish correct inspection acceptance criteria
  • Conduct incoming inspections using various methods such as visual inspection, dimensional measurement, and functional testing.
  • Collaborate with supplier Quality team to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming inspection results and non-conformances.
  • Monitor production processes in real-time to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Identify and address deviations from quality standards during the manufacturing process.
  • Ensure that all in-process activities comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform regular audits and inspections to verify process adherence and identify non-conformances. Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols for in-process inspections.
  • Inspect and witness test finished Power Conversion & storage products before shipment to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct final inspections using various methods such as visual inspection, functional testing, Dimensional and performance testing.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address any quality issues identified during outgoing inspections.

Preferred Requirements:

  • 2–5 years in quality engineering or quality assurance within manufacturing or power conversion systems.
  • Hands-on experience with incoming inspection, in-process audits, and final product testing.
  • Proficiency in measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM) and functional testing equipment.
  • Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, IEC standards, and regulatory compliance for electrical equipment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Quality/Manufacturing Engineering.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
