Job Duties
The School of Music seeks qualified applicants for a renewable one-year fixed-term, benefits eligible, Teaching Instructor or Teaching Assistant Professor position in COLLABORATIVE PIANO. Primary responsibilities include providing collaborative piano support for student, faculty performances, rehearsals, studio lessons, in the instrumental area. Secondary responsibilities may include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in collaborative piano.
Minimum Education/Experience
Master’s degree in music required. Qualifying degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Outstanding artistry in solo performance, chamber music, and/or ensemble performance experience is required.
License Or Certification Required By Statute Or Regulation
None
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education
Earned DMA or PhD. Established record of college level collaborative piano performance.
