Job Summary
Provide daily support and coordination of activities related to the compliance with Title II of the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other applicable federal, state and local accessibility laws and policies system-wide; including reporting, program development and implementation, and outreach activities.
Essential Functions
Create and maintain accurate, confidential ADA case files and centralized tracking system to monitor employee requests, monitor timelines and outcomes to use in periodic reports.
Support the interactive process with employees, including timely communication, evaluation of employee accommodation requests, implementation of approved accommodations and ongoing dialogue.
Serve as central point of contact for ADA inquiries regarding processes and data.
Communicate and assist employees with the process of requesting and receiving approved accommodation.
Track, monitor, communicate and close out ADA requests in collaboration with Benefits.
Develop and disseminate marketing campaigns to publicize HCCâs ADA programs and resources.
Verify accuracy and completeness of related documents and forms in compliance with ADA program guidelines.
Research and stays informed on best practices and trends in accessibility solutions.
Qualifications
Perform other duties, tasks and assignments as required.
Education & Experience
General Office.Must be able to perform all job requirements with or without reasonable accommodations; remain in a stationary position during shift; move items weighing up to 25 pounds; position self to operate job equipment; apply established protocols in a timely manner.Must access, input and retrieve information from technology devices; communicate with others to accomplish job requirements.May be required to work after hours to include weekends and holidays.

Education & Experience
- Bachelorâs degree required, preferably in Public Administration, Education or Human Resources related field
- 2 years related experience required
- Valid Texas Driver License
- MS Office Programs
