Accountabilities
The summer accounting office assistant will work in the accounting office to post deferral journal entries, review accounts payable to assist with cut-off testing, provide support for the documentation process, participate on the team that completes the biannual federal equipment inventory review, and will help with other year-end tasks as assigned.
Professional Experience/ Qualifications
Familiarity with general ledger and journal entries, experience with tools such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite, and good communications skills.
Education
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma, ideally pursuing a college degree in accounting/finance/economics.

- This is a part-time role consisting of 24 hours per week. The schedule is flexible but must be within our core business hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
