Job DescriptionRecital Monitors - Responsible for staffing all School of Music performances, at various times and in various venues. Recital Monitors are responsible for set-up and tear-down of performance stages. They act as stage crew and attendance counters for School of Music performances. Recording Monitors - Responsible for recording School of Music concerts and events in several venues. Transportation, set-up and tear-down of recording systems are necessary. In-studio work is also required for delivery of final products to performers and faculty. For additional info: Brock Babcock, brockbabcock@ku.edu
Office Assistant - Assist the Communication office with general office duties, including telephone and visitor reception, word processing, filing, copying, data entry, mailing, and other duties as requested. Provide faculty support as needed or requested. The successful candidate must commit to a set schedule for the semester. - Excellent written communication skills, as evidenced by application materials and work history
- Students pursuing a Music major or related field, as indicated on application materials.
- Federal Work Study eligibility preferred, as indicated on application materials.
- This is an hourly/non-exempt position. A student employee cannot hold an hourly/non-exempt position and a salaried/exempt graduate or undergraduate position (GRA/GTA/GA/RUA/RGA) concurrently.Additional Candidate InstructionsA complete application includes a cover letter and a resume or CV.
