Minimum Qualifications
- Must be enrolled at JJC in at least 6 credit hours in fall/spring semester.
- Maintain GPA of 2.0 or higher.
- Assist director in preparing the gallery for an exhibition such as patching walls and general upkeep.
- Assist in exhibition preparation such as installation of work and creation of
- Assist in taking down an exhibition and storing work for pick up after it closes.
- Assist where needed with gallery receptions.
- Assist in maintaining and cataloging JJC student collection.
- Assist Fine Arts secretary as needed
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with other members of the college and community, displaying cultural competence as well as emotional intelligence.
- Visual Arts major OR has taken core visual arts courses such as painting, drawing, design, 3D design and graphics arts.
- Able to lift 25 lbs.
- Strong work ethic, professional demeanor.
- Strong computer skills.
- Attention to detail.
- English and Spanish verbal and written communication proficiency.
- Demonstrated multicultural competence.
