This position is accountable for performing a range of general clerical and design tasks.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitors public viewing hours
- Greets visitors
- Assists in maintenance of galleries both at the Visual Arts Center and at the Warde Academic Center
- Performs clerical tasks such as copying, filing, scanning, and typing documents
- Assists in show installation and de-installation
- Assists in packaging shows for shipment
- Assists in unloading and loading artists' vehicles when delivering or picking up work
- Assembles mass mailings
- Answers phone
- Assists Studio Lab Manager with archiving events and exhibits through means of video and photography
- Helps Gallery Director host visiting artist’s receptions
- Performs related duties as assigned
